Identify Your Values
December 29, 2014
Perspective is an essential part of a happy life. When you feel unfulfilled, stressed, or otherwise unhappy, it’s worth stepping back and taking the long view. Your daily tasks stem from your intermediate goals, your intermediate goals form your long-term goals, and your long-term goals (hopefully) are based on your governing values, or the things you want most in life.
As you clean out your planner from 2014, take stock of your activities over the past year and assess how well they match with your values. Prioritizing your family, career, and personal development and setting goals accordingly can help match your goals with the inner motivation to accomplish them.
