I read this quote because today I am 78 years old. It has been both a challenging year and a rewarding one. I’ve had major surgery this year resulting from a diagnosis that only occurred through divine intervention. Related complications resulted in difficulties through the remainder of the year and, hopefully, put an end to this cycle on my birthday. This has brought laser focus on ‘the end in mind’.
I’ve used planners for over 50 years, first Daytimers then Franklin Covey, but mostly as a productivity enhancer. This year I will dig into my values to develop a mission statement that will drive my daily use of the planner.
